AdvancedHUD

For Paper servers, 1.19.4 to 1.21.8

Design your server's HUD in the browser. Players see it the moment they join.

AdvancedHUD is a visual editor, a resource pack generator and a Paper plugin built as one product. Drag elements onto a canvas, connect your server with one command and deploy with one click. No client mod, and nothing for players to configure.

A design tool, not a configuration file

Everything in a HUD is something you can see, select and move. What you arrange on the canvas is what your players get.

  • Drag-and-drop canvas

Place, resize, align and snap elements on a Minecraft viewport. Layers on the left, properties on the right, no YAML.

  • 25 element types

Text, player name, score, money, ping, timers, health, food, armor and experience bars, progress bars, images, icons, item icons, player head, boss bar, containers and a minimap.

  • 23 templates, 30 components

Start from a finished HUD for survival, PvP, SkyBlock, BedWars, roleplay, RPG, prison, factions and more, then drop in reusable blocks such as a title card, a match timer or a team status list.

  • Animations

Apply a preset such as fade, slide or pulse, or build your own motion with keyframes.

  • States with conditions

Show a different layout in combat, at low health or after a win. Each state is switched by a condition you define.

  • Live preview

Run conditions, states and animations in the editor with simulated placeholder values before anything reaches the server.

One layout that holds on every screen

Each element is pinned to a screen anchor by a shader in the generated pack. The HUD keeps its place on every resolution, aspect ratio and GUI scale, and players change no settings.

16:91920 x 1080

4:31280 x 960

21:93440 x 1440

The same HUD shown on three aspect ratios. Each element stays attached to its screen anchor.

From a blank canvas to a live server

The editor, the pack generator and the plugin share one project format, so nothing is copied or translated by hand.

  1. Step 1: Design in the browser

Pick a template or start blank. Arrange elements on the canvas and check every state in the live preview.

  2. Step 2: Connect with one command

Install the plugin, then paste the command from your dashboard into the server console. It links the server to your account.

  3. Step 3: Deploy from the editor

Press Deploy. AdvancedHUD builds the resource pack and the server picks up the project.

  4. Step 4: Players join

They accept the server resource pack and see the HUD. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure.

Server console

/advancedhud connect <single-use token>

Server console

/advancedhud license activate <key>
  • Deterministic resource pack

The pack is generated from your project. The same project always produces the same pack, so the plugin can verify it by hash.

  • Single-use connection token

The connect command carries a token that works once and expires. No password is ever typed into a console.

  • One-click deploy

Press Deploy in the editor. The server fetches the new project and players see the change.

  • Offline grace period

If the licensing service is unreachable, servers keep running on their last verified license for 72 hours.

Start from a HUD that already works

23 templates cover the common game modes, many set in one of the built-in fonts. Each one inserts ordinary elements that you can restyle, rearrange or delete.

Minimal Survival. Health, food, armor, experience, level and player name, with a low-health warning state.

Showing 14 of 23 templates. The editor also includes 30 components and 21 built-in fonts.

Built for what servers actually show

Live values from your plugins, messages pushed during a match and a map of the arena, all drawn by the same HUD.

  • Placeholders

Built-in player and server placeholders work out of the box. Any PlaceholderAPI placeholder resolves when PlaceholderAPI is installed.

  • Subtitles

Push timed lines of text to one player or everyone with a command or the API. Lines queue and play one after another.

  • Minimap

A radar with compass and waypoints, or a top-down map image of your arena with the player's live position.

  • Developer API

Register your own placeholders, add waypoints, show subtitles and toggle the HUD from your plugins.

  • 21 built-in fonts

21 built-in fonts across pixel, fantasy, sci-fi, display and handwritten styles, plus the Minecraft font; no upload needed. You can still upload your own fonts and image assets.

  • Export, import and snapshots

Save a snapshot before a big change and restore it later. Export a project to a file and import it into another account.

Questions server owners ask

Do players need a client mod?

No. The HUD is drawn through the server resource pack, so players join with an unmodified Java Edition client and accept the pack.

Will the HUD look right on every screen?

Yes. A shader in the generated pack pins each element to its screen anchor, so the layout holds on every resolution, aspect ratio and GUI scale. Players do not change any setting.

Which servers are supported?

Paper 1.19.4 to 1.21.8 on Java 17 or newer. Java 21 is recommended. Bedrock players connecting through Geyser are not supported, because Bedrock clients do not use Java resource packs.

Do I have to write configuration files?

No. HUDs are designed in the browser and delivered by the plugin. The plugin's own configuration only covers connection and behavior settings.

Can I use placeholders from other plugins?

Yes. AdvancedHUD has built-in player and server placeholders and resolves any PlaceholderAPI placeholder when PlaceholderAPI is installed. Plugins can also register placeholders through the developer API.

How do I buy a license?

Purchases are handled by our team on Discord. You receive a license key and activate it on your server with one command.

What happens if the licensing service is unreachable?

Servers keep showing the last deployed HUD on their last verified license for a 72 hour grace period. New deployments wait until the connection is back.
